This “100 Years along the Fox River” program explores 50 black and white photographs taken by Dwight Young, resident of Oswego, on a 3 day canoe trip down the Fox River (from Oswego to Ottawa) in 1912. Comparisons are made to photographs taken on the 100 year anniversary canoe trip taken in the summer of 2012 by his descendants, including Scott Johnson, great-grandson, doing the presentation. The subject matter of the historical photographs include buildings, bridges, dams, and the sandstone bluffs of the lower Fox River.
