Drop-Off Donations
Donations may be brought to the Circulation Desk at the Montgomery or Oswego Campus during regular business hours.
We kindly ask that you pack items in two bags or two small boxes. Please do not leave donations in book drops or outside our front doors.
All items donated become the property of the Oswego Public Library District. Donations cannot be returned. Items may become part of our collection, sold in the Friends of the Library book sale, or disposed of in accordance with library needs.
- Hardcover and paperback books in good condition
- Commercially published DVDs
- Video games
- Damaged books with broken binding, missing pages, smoke or water damage, or that are soiled or musty
- VHS Tapes
- CDs
- Encyclopedias
- Textbooks
- Magazines
- Time Life Series
- Reader’s Digest
- Outdated non-fiction material
Memorials
Monetary gifts to purchase materials are a wonderful way to remember and honor a loved one. All efforts are made to acquire materials in keeping with the wishes of the donor. The library places a bookplate in the item noting the honoree and the donor(s).
If you are interested in donating, please fill out the Gift and Memorial Donation Form. This may be returned to the circulation desk at either campus or be mailed to the following address:
