Study rooms can be reserved by Oswego Public Library District cardholders.

  • Cardholders can reserve a room online up to 48 hours in advance. Those without a library card can check at the staff desks to see if a room is available for use.

  • There is a limit of one reservation per day per individual or group.
  • Study rooms may be reserved for up to 2 hours. If the room has no pending reservations, extensions may be granted in half-hour increments for up to a total of 4 hours of use per day.
  • A reservation will be canceled if the person who made the reservation is more than 15 minutes late.
  • Access to the study room will only be given when the reserving cardholder has arrived.
  • Those without reservations, reciprocal borrowers, and others without OPLD cards may sign up for an available study room on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis.
  • Study rooms are available for single users or small groups of 2 - 6 people.
  • There is a limit of one use per day per individual or group.
  • The time limit will depend upon the amount of free time before the next scheduled reservation for the room. Otherwise, the time limits will be the same as those for reserved rooms.
  • Use of the room is not allowed if there are fewer than 20 minutes before the next reservation.
