Special Hearing for Property Purchase

The Board of Library Trustees of the Oswego Public Library District, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties, Illinois, will determine a finance plan for acquisition of property at its meeting to be held on May 27, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Montgomery Campus Library, 1111 Reading Drive, Montgomery, Illinois. At the meeting the public will be given an opportunity to be heard on the proposed property acquisition and the proposed method of paying the costs from accumulations/reserves. The estimated cost of acquiring the property is $515,000.
 

The property proposed to be purchased is commonly known as 55 North Madison Street, Oswego, Illinois, P.I.N. 03-17-180-003.
